Comet Neowise and X-wing

The comet was first spotted using the Near-Earth Wide-Field Infrared Survey Explorer (NEOWISE) space telescope in March. The homemade spacecraft, built by volunteers from Calvary Baptist Church in Woodland, helped secure a win as part of a float in the 2019 Woodland Holiday Parade. Instead of being disassembled and discarded, Jayson Lamoree asked to keep it in his front yard.
